About CRYSTAL MCLEAN
Crystal McLean is the President and Founder of Money Box Academy Inc., a financial literacy hybrid non-profit academy serving schools, universities, organizations, and entrepreneurs. She is also the Founder and Chief Strategist at Crystal Clear Consulting Group LLC, helping business owners with revenue-generating strategies, operational efficiency, financial management, and marketing growth.
With a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Finance from Fayetteville State University and over 10 years in the banking industry, Crystal is dedicated to promoting financial literacy and empowering individuals to develop healthy money habits. She has taught over 3,000 children and conducted more than 100 workshops, seminars, and classes on money management for various audiences.
Crystal’s commitment to mentoring and financial education has earned her the Mentor of the Year award from ACHI Magazine, Woman of the Year award, and Community Impact Leader of the Year from several organizations. She is also an accomplished author, having written international best-selling children’s books “Harmoney & the Empty Piggybank” and “No No Sonny, Save That Money,” as well as adult-focused financial guides.
Her expertise has been featured on CBS News, IBronco Radio, Fayetteville Observer, and other media outlets, where she shares insights on financial empowerment. As a community supporter, Crystal volunteers extensively and, alongside her husband, Brandon McLean, serves as a Youth Pastor, inspiring youth financially and spiritually.
Crystal’s mission is to empower individuals with financial knowledge and tools, making a lasting impact on her community and future generations.
